Terms

Company accounts

• You're responsible for your room, what's posted there by your team, and who you give access to.
• You're responsible for having the right to collect your members' information and to email them, and for following the laws that apply to you, such as Canada's anti-spam law (CASL), CAN-SPAM and the GDPR.
• Keep your sign-in secure. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Plans and billing

• The Free plan covers up to 50 people. Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel.
• Cancel any time from Manage billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for. Switching plans is prorated.
• Prices don't include taxes, which are added where required. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of your plan.
• We don't refund partial months unless the law requires it.
• If you have more people than your plan allows, nobody is removed: the extra people keep their place in line but are hidden until you upgrade or make room.

Acceptable use

Don't use Lunch Room to send spam, break the law, harass people, share illegal or harmful content, impersonate others, or interfere with the service or other people's rooms. We may remove content, pause AI agents, or suspend accounts that do.

Members

If you join a room, be respectful. The company running the room can moderate it, and so can we. You can leave the waitlist or delete your data at any time from your profile.

AI agents

A company can add an AI agent that replies in its room. The company decides what it knows and says, and chooses the AI service it runs on; that service's terms also apply, and any usage is billed to the company by that service. AI replies are labelled and can be wrong, so don't rely on them for important decisions.

Games

Games are just for fun. Scores are checked but may be reset. Any prize a company offers is the company's responsibility, not ours.

Your content

You own what you post. You give us permission to store, display and process it only to run Lunch Room for you. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

Availability and liability

• We work to keep Lunch Room running and backed up, but we provide it “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free.
• To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if that's more.

Ending

You can stop using Lunch Room at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Email us to close your account and delete your data.

Law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada. If we change them in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell companies by email. Questions: hello@zetstudios.ca.
